Hi Bright,

stay with us. It seems there is something wrong with your internet connection. 
That 'wrong' thing was not there when you installed apache. installing mysql 
is technically nothing different (except that the files are a bit bigger).

Once we got your internet patched up again, you should be very good to go and 
install many *more* applications and more up-to-date ones too, than are 
included in the Suse DVD, just because ubuntu downloads additional packages 
when you tell it to.

As you have seen offlist, I did send an email to both DN & Orange.
