I am most likely going to duo boot ma machine..... when ever I need
Internet and am out of office, I switch to XP otherwise, am not about to
leave Mbarara to Kampala just for a Modem, not soon!

Hi Thomas,

It appears your modem is being detected as a usb_modem as opposed to a 
gsm_modem (see dmesg ad confirm)

If this is still the case and usb_modemswitch hasn't worked, take it to Orange 
head office on clement hill road so that you can be helped. It may be necessary 
to go with your Linux pc.
