I'm not sure about the accuracy of this page. He has, for example, course 7 and 8 of the Ren. 8c lute tuned to D and C respectively. All the 8c lutes I've run across have 7 and 8 as F and D, with course 8 becoming E when you add 9 or more courses (9 then becoming D).
