Lots of good stuff omitted Much thanks for this its most apreciated, it actually closely matchs another doc I found on the net about replacing systemd in debian but in Ricks version has vastly more info on other packages involved. Just a minor point, if required this writer would have no hesitation in looking at recompiling bsdutils and util-linux if it was required. I personally think Debian is insane in using systemd its entirely anti unix.
