Larry Virden asked about this - it's a new feature that I'm still refining.
(It works properly for me, but there's always the possibility of a bug or
case that I overlooked, as well as the usual transition pains).

I use default-colors most of the time - so I'm pretty sure it works properly.
If you're using some ncurses snapshot from (say) mid-December to late January,
then it may not work well (I'd have to see the specifics).

I just tested the last of these - which is what I recommended to LV -
it works for me. If it doesn't work for you, then either we're not
talking about the same thing, or there's something amiss with the
terminal description you're using (i.e., doesn't have a workable 'op'
capability).

it hasn't changed - I use the color-style version about 2/3 of the time.
