For the symbols that are really unicode chars, couldn't we create a dialog (similar to the old math panel) or even a nifty toolbar dropdown widget? This would be much nicer ui, and it wouldn't clutter the menu. (and especially the linguists would love it, if it contained an IPA section). Jürgen
