And I'll add that, since everybody is supposed to know the linux
kernel veriosnning, they are supposed to know about "pre" too. Hmm,
maybe we should take your numbering for the code, but release LyX
complete (with support files and doc) as 6.1, 6.2, 7.0? What do you
think? That would make even more people feel at home.
