This happens natureally when you really start to add markup.
A word can be both "emphasized", "source code", "a hint", "english
language". . .
Oh but that's a same word with different properties. I was objecting to
the idea of selecting part of a word in a given charstyle and continue
to another word with a different charstyle. If the selection goes out of
the word, the full word should be selected IMO. If someone wants to have
part of this word and part of the next word in a different charstyle
then he/she should do this operation in two steps, one step per word.
