No, I'd be surprised that 4.3 cannot accept code that is valid in 4.2.

  
At least the documentation suggests that QDrag::start() doesn't exist in 
4.3 but has been replaced by QDrag::exec(), which seems to come in two 
versions. I haven't tested, though.
