there are two things not to be confused here: 1. internal LyX format. 2. output format of LyX document. what you are talking about is 2. and was never planned for 2.0 in particular. the problem is that we dont have any active developer who understands this area, so while we can agree that having working Docbook 4.4 XML output would be nice for 2.0 there is nobody to do it or even cooperate with us (we have already asked people using lyx+xml without any response). pavel
