Hello,
I don't remember to have answered to these, hope to not duplicate myself
(now I have a decent connection):

- If Enter means searching, how can I then search for a string with
paragraph breaks. I can't enter an enter now.
the main purpose would be to search for a single-paragraph text segment,
however, if you would like to suggest use-cases in which a search for a
multi-paragraph segment would be largely useful, please do so.
- I've a document with red text: "af<enter>a". Now I search for "f"
(red text) with Ignore format off. Result: no hits.
misbehaviour confirmed: it was there since a long time (caused by the
"hierarchical search" optimization). I've just reviewed the entire
format-sensitive search machinery, so as to add selective sensitivity to:
- char styles
- par styles, like section headings, lists or the exact math environment
type
and this problem is not there anymore. I need further testing
(especially if regexp insets are present) and lot of code cleanup,
before sharing this code.
Bye,
T.
