that's why we want to store the password somewhere and get it back
automatically. For the
nearest-term needs, I don't pretend to use any secure password management,
namely putting
it in clear-text in a lyx config file should work.

For me, I do "Manage Accounts..", then Add..., then
username: tcucinotta
domain: jabber.org
resource: (leave empty)
Can't remember how I created the account, perhaps from www.jabber.org.
