This is somewhat misleading.

And this was the main reason why we never included it as part of LyX and
developed internal LyXHTML export.

There are ways around like lyx2lyx (as Georg writes) however for anyone new to
this project considering elyxer as base for for docx conversion please have a
look at archives at least to understand why we didn't like this solution.
