Hi Jürgen

I couldn’t generate my crash in a small file. So I simply force-quit LyX which
also generated an emergency file. It looks okay to me. But I can’t really test
it, because when LyX tries to load it, the dialog box appears. The problem is
that this dialog box does not accept any clicks on its buttons. LyX dialogs
are fine, but this one looks like an os-native dialog box and does not work at
all. I still can dismiss it (of course, not by clicking “cancel” but by hitting
the ESC-KEY).

I think that Koji has identifies the problem. He wrote that the QT-Version used
has problems with macOS 26. He also wrote that the newest version might be
better but that compilation does not yet work with it. His suggestion was to
return to QT 5.x for macOS.

Best regards, Marcus
