That is probably true indeed.
Most of your suggestions for sanitation are done in the attached patch,
which I propose for trunk, for now.
OK to commit to trunk? It is a clear improvement.
By the way Martin, I just noticed that:
1) unnumbered sections will be transformed into a numbered section if
you use IN and OUT.
2) Undo information is not stored.
