Indeed. I'm trying to create a 1.4.3svn release compiled with MSVC.
Why are we still using Aspell? Hunspell (the spell checker of
OpenOffice.org and Abiword) works a lot better.
The logical cross platform choice would be enchant from the abiword
project which seems to take what is present in the platform.
Switching to a new spell checker doesn't seem very complicated from a
first glance at the spell code. Maybe even less work than trying to
adapt Aspell to MSVC etc. Volunteer? ;-)
