WinLyX 1.1.6 hangs

Dear users!

I've just installed "WinLyX 1.1.6" to try it out, but have got a
problem:
After installing it and configuring it with "SetupLyx.bat" and
"runconfigure.bat"
etc. I started it with "runlyx.bat".
At first LyX seems to work and I can open documents etc. using my mouse,

but when I hit a key on my keyboard LyX hangs completely,
so I have to kill the task.

"WinLyX 1.1.5fix1" worked well on my NT4 + Exceed 6.2.

Any idea? Did anyone experience the same problem?
