Herbert, Yes, the PDF output has et al. citations and all authors in the bibliography. Because the LyX display does not reflect that is distracting; I spent the past couple of days trying to fix it when I need to focus on writing the index and implementing a different chapter heading look (which will wait until the index is done.)
