Problem: if your Qt version is using Xft (anti-aliased fonts etc.) you can't get maths symbols rendered Old solution: latex-ttf-fonts. BaKoMa fonts with a nasty license New solution: latex-xft-fonts. LaTeX-licensed fonts regards, john
