TrueType font in the system.
Cmr10 does not have accented characters. It only has non-accented letters and separate accents.
Ah! Bummer. Thanks for the clarification, though. It would be really nice if it had them, as it would make the on-screen visual appearance that much closer to that of the printed page with zero effort.
Oh well, I guess I can still use it when I'm writing in English and live with the square on my last name :)
