I checked, this has been discussed long ago (bug 643) http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=643 I wonder if the extra flag come from this discussion, as use of originaldir make View behave like Export here (but it copies also the htlatex temporary files, this is not appropriate). -- Jean-Pierre
