Hi Russell, Welcome to the fun! Yes, a photo of the motherboard would help :)
If it proves out that one of the issues is with the contrast control pot, then there are options. Sadly, they don't make one-to-one replacements for VR1 any more. I too had issues with VR1 -- and couldn't find a modern replacement. So I made a tray that fits in the VR1 space to allow a modern potentiometer to work. More details at stuff.bradgrier.com I've recently updated the design to a PCB, but the website doesn't reflect that yet. Good luck with the hunt! --Brad On Thu, Dec 30, 2021 at 9:13 PM Stephen Adolph <twospru...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, a pic would be great of the motherboard! > > On Thursday, December 30, 2021, Russell Pitman <bagpus...@hotmail.co.uk> > wrote: > >> Hi all >> >> >> >> I have recently received my first M100 but unfortunately I am unable to >> get any response from it. >> >> >> >> I have been looking at the circuit diagrams and manuals for it but none >> seem to match the motherboard >> >> that is inside this model.
