Yes, I did hold down CTRL+BREAK+press reset. Repeated this three times and
the data is almost identical (repeatable results). I triggered off of the
reset signal and recorded 100ms pre-trigger and 2s post-trigger. Performed
data review just after the RESET occurred.
Thanks again for everyone's help with this. I'm learning a lot about this
computer and feedback from the forum has been very inspiring!

When you are capturing data with your LA are you doing a hard reset, i.e. hold
down CTRL+BREAK+press reset. This causes the machine to try to initialize
everything and copy the code from ROM to RAM that I mentioned before.

I had an interesting finding:
With the M12 ROM installed, pin 20 (A11) is stuck in a high state (5V).
With the M12 ROM removed, all address lines are in a high state except for pins
3 (A7) and 7 (A3). Measurements taken at the ROM socket.

The execute basic might be normal because there is a feature in the main
rom to run a certain program at boot if it's been set up, kind of like
autoexec.bat. I don't remember the specifics but it's in the regular
user manual. But you're right that right now that doesn't matter because
all bets are off and no data matters no matter what it looks like until
that address line is unstuck.
