I won't go on about databases and Screen Readers here as I'd be going off topic 
for the list so if you want more explanation then write me privately but I will 
say this, Screen Reader users - whether that be Windows or Mac - are deprived 
of good accessible and easy to use database software, I've been using Bento for 
the last 2 versions and like you I love the software because - well in my 
opinion at least - its exactly my idea of what a database should be and I've 
been programming with database languages/applications for over 20 years.

The nearest thing Windows users have in my view is something called "Ask Sam".

Under the LINUX OS there are several choices as is the case with IOS, Bento is 
the obvious example here but there's another nice database app called I 
Database for Ipad and Iphone.
