Yep I have written to them about this and you can write to them as well, go to their website at <http://www.1password.com> and follow the links, the more feedback they get then the better product we'll have and I have to say that the development team are extremely helpful, I remember not all that long ago when 1 Password didn't have the accessibility it now does and - unless you knew exactly what you were doing - the product was pretty much meaningless when looked at through VO <smile>.

Hi Dane.

If your are in contact with the developer, would you tell them, that there are
a number of unlabeled buttons, and the buttons does not have any help tag too.
I have tried to get in contact with the developer, but that is not an easy
thing at the moment.

THank you for helping.

Best regards Annie.

The hotkey command-\ should work from Safari, it does here though you may have
problems with accessibility of the Safari extension at this time, the developers
wrote back to me this morning and said they were still having issues with VO
accessibility and 1 Password, they seem to think that Safari itself may be a cause of
some of the problem here? Don't ask me, i only use the products<smile>.

Hi again.

Ok a little further.

I can open from the program but not from safari, that is ok. But the hotkey
command + \ does not work on a danish keyboard. I have tried to change it, but
these fields are unknown in the preferences, what can I do about that.

But I can open the page now a major step forward, but it would be a step
forward if I also could use my logins, and if it would be possible to access
the logins from safari once again would be great.

Okay, see if this helps.

Firstly launch 1 Password and enter your "Master Password" and hit return,
you'll hear the familiar 1 password unlocking sound and all passwords and other data will
be available for you to manipulate.

at this point focus is directed to the "Search" edit box where you can type in
a word to search for, this may be part of a login name or whatever, type in what you want
here and press return.

Focus is then directed to a list of "Search Results" in the form of a table
with multiple columns, the first column is a graphic of some sort and the second is the
title of the item, you'll have to interact with the table at this point with VO to
navigate it.

When you've navigated to what you're looking for you can use the options available and these
will change depending on the sort of item you're dealing with, if you're dealing with a
"login" item then you'll obviously have items to deal with logging into the
particular site as well as the usual edit and other manipulation options and I won't deal with
all of these in this message in order that the content be kept brief and to the
point<smile>.

So supposing you're looking at a "login" item and you wish to "login" to the site the item refers
to? The easy way to do this is to use the shortcut command-option-return, this opens Safari which in tern opens the
"login" web page, at that point press command-\ and 1 Password will fill in the "login" details for
you.

This procedure generally works but its still a bit irratic I've found and I'm hoping the
developers will be doing further work here, normally one should only have to use the
command-option-return shortcut to have 1 Password open and "login" to the site.

Hi.

I can not find my logins as I could in snow leopard. I had a great menu, I do
not have this menu any longer.

I can not find my login for a specific site, when I am on the site, and wants
to login.

I hope you can help.

Yep, I have a few suggestions which may help but first bare in mind that 1
Password is a highly flexible system thus it can be run and accessed in various
ways so what works for me may not work for you.

Yep, I'm still finding some hickups along the way though the interesting thing
is that systems seem to behave differently sometimes, for example for some
reason 1 Password on the Macbook behaves differently than does 1 Password on
the Mac which shouldn't happen in theory given that both systems use the same
data but that's for another time perhaps.

so what are you having difficulties with specifically when it comes to 1
Password? Are you having difficulties logging into sites from the extension,
running the application or what?

Hi Dane.

I can not get 1password to work. I have updated the safari extension and tried
a lot of different things. I can not get it to work.

Do you have some ideas.

For those who use 1 Password then follow this link for an update and refresher course
on everything you'll need to know about shortcuts for 1 Password and the browser
extension, in this case it will be the browser extension for Safari given that Safari
- as far as I know - is the only accessible browser for VO at this time, be sure you
have the latest 1 Password extension for Safari installed, to check you're up to date
go to the update options in the 1 Password menu etc, to read more go
