Hey bubba, that sounds like a decent plan to me. I still have the 3GS and to be honest, for what I use it for, it does a great job. I don't use it for the internet etc as I'm not a fan of using internet on small touch screen interfaces with big fingers like mine.
other than that, the 4S sounds like a worthwhile investment.... justifying the price though seems a bit of a thing. £500 pay and go and we're waiting for o2 to release as pay and go. I don't like contracts as it's just something that I've had a very bad experience with some years back. As always, it's an amazing product and I love the feel of it. I do have to admit one thing though. I wish the iphone was a bit larger and thicker. Excuse the rant but here goes. woof woof woof! These days, it's all about making a product really thin and light, but to someone like me, I prefer something more rugged and thicker, weight's not an issue but a larger device would suit better (not iPad size but say another 1" either dimension would give some extra surface to work on and just a bit more room. just a thought. I love the 3GS to bits but as I say, I don't use internet on it. I prefer my laptop to that anyday. just wish apple would give us the freedom of tethering for the iphone to mac. then guys like me in the IT sector can still have a modem for on road use or emergency work, etc. nice review bubba and keep it up lol lew (off to bangor for a bit to pick up a laptop of great interest. woopee!)
