Hello David Yes, I think you're right that VoiceOver calls it the "Accent" key. I've just tried this a couple of times and I cannot replicate the problem. Each time I did it it worked perfectly well. So who knows; maybe it's something local in the configuration of the specific system; but I've just tried it on our 2009 MacBook Pro and on a mid 2007 MacBook. I had no problems in either case.

I think the problem occurs when a window you cycle to using this command, is then hiding the window you are trying to drag from. Often the issue is when you are trying to drag out of one application into another. I know for definite that this has variable outcomes. For example I have successfully dragged and dropped a bookmark from Safari onto the desktop which is quite a useful feature. On other occasions I try this and other operations and get the message no visible window to perform action etc. The problem is somehow ensuring both the window you are dragging from and the window you are dragging to is visible. Obviously for many of us this is difficult to check so I thought expose may be a way of forcing windows to be visible. I will check this out myself when I get the time. <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to mac-access@mac-access.net You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-access@mac-access.net/>.
