There is no need to do another install of Windows. Just tell Fusion to use the boot camp partition and all is well.

That is, the product key is already used to activate the bootcamp partition. Do I also get to use the same product key to activate/validate the VMWare installation? I know the product key is tied to the hardware, so maybe its okay since its the same hardware? And, is it more advantageous to simply point VMWare to the bootcamp? Would it be redundant to have both bootcamp and the other? Lots of questions. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris" <christopher...@gmail.com> To: "Mac OSX & iOS Accessibility" <mac-access@mac-access.net> Sent: Wednesday, October 17, 2012 6:47 AM Subject: Re: I need somebody who has experience with vm fusion 5 on a mac > Hello all > I have only used Vmware Fusion recently, and I found that allowing the > virtual machines to use 4 CPUs provides the best, almost near native > results, regardless of the memory.
