Tempo Perfect is a great metronome app. The reason I suggested using GigBabyFree! instead in an earlier reply is that I prefer to use rhythm or music tracks for exercise sessions, and this app lets you either use a straight metronome or play a backing rhythm track of your choice at the beat interval you select. You can also monitor how many revs you've done by checking the counters for bars and beats until you reset. However, that just reflects my preference to use actual music or rhythm tracks to keep pace for workout sessions rather than a metronome; the original poster did only ask for a metronome. The other thing I've used the GigBabyFree! app for is checking BPM (beats per minute) of songs, since you can put in decimal intervals for the metronome beats -- not just whole number counts -- or you can use the "Tap" button on the tempo screen to beat out a rhythm to a song and read off its BPM.
Apparently, there are apps that will analyze the BPM of your music collection (and even adjust them to your preferred tempo). PaceDJLite was a free example, although I could only launch this without the app crashing under iOS 7.
