I would suggest that the method you are using is inefficient in the long run.
I suggest a different approach. 1. Install DropBox on your Mac or PC. 2. Create a folder in your DropBox to share with your friend. 3. Send an invitation to your friend to share a folder on DropBox. If you are using a Mac it might be easiest doing this from the DropBox website. There is an unlabelled edit field on the dropbox web share folder invitation page. Enter your friend's email address into this field. From memory it is the penultimate field. You could either use trial and error to find the right field or use sighted help for this one off task. 4. Your friend needs to install DropBox onto their iPhone. 5. When they receive an email inviting to share a folder they need to click the link which says yes. 6. Now all you need to do to send files to your friend is copy them into the shared dropbox folder on your Mac or Pc. You can have as many sub folders as you like. 7. If they are Word files they will need to install something like pages to edit them but VoiceDream TTS will read them fine. Another question is this. We are trying to send an attachment to someone's iPhone and an iPad. The attachment is zipped and when it opens, it has lots of folders on it. Not only does it have folders on it, but it has many sublevels. Can these two iDevices handle that kind of thing? I don't believe these people have computers and the iDevices are their only way of communications via E-Mail and the like.
