I still like the Filer app a lot, and my only concern is about whether the support is being kept current for iOS 7. You can try out the Filer Lite app, if you like. It's a universal app. For the files and folders in the Filer app, you can either play or display the files directly, or double tap on a "more info" button that gives more file details and also a button with the option to compress to zip.
