No I haven’t read his book yet either. Actually I’m planning to take all the
old Braille stuff that I have here in my apartment back to my parents’ house
next weekend when I’m there. A sister of mine currently has a Braille copy of
Janet’s book, but she says she’s done with it and that I can have it. So I’m
bringing it back here to my apartment, and then when I’m done with hers I’m
going to see about getting Tim’s book.

Have you read Tim Sniffen's book also Jake? It is excellent too. It is
available as an iBook from the iBook store.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. I got my Mac Book Air almost a year ago,
and have found the on-board help and tutorial to be very good. There is also
AppleVis, which has a wealth of information not only for the Mac but also for
iOS devices. As others have said, we’re always glad to assist too. I’m planning
to read Janet Ingber’s book soon as well, which I’ve heard is quite
comprehensive.

I find life is lot easier if you have the tab key set to interact
automatically..
Go to Vo Utility with VO F8 and then interact with the category table and then
the press N which should hum you to navigation. Stop interacting and Vo Cursor
down through a whole lot of options until you hear Automatically interact when
using tab key . Make sure you have this checked with VO Space and close the
window with Command W.
Now in the app store you will find the search edit field in the top toolbar
which you may have to interact with to see. Type in your search criteria
and press enter. Pressing tab after I have done this will get me to the
search results html area. If I interact with this I am able to read the search
results normally..

It sou sounds a little complicated but after a while it will seem like second
nature.
