Hello Mac Canadians,

A friend and I were having a little Mac conversation this morning before I
went to class. And here is what he said!

He said he doubted that Apple will still be in business in the year 2011. Do
you think this will be true? Do you think Microsoft will be the master of
computers? I can us myself using a Microsoft PeeCee. Or Piece of Crap. It
made me think! Hum..... Will Apple be in business in 10 years? That thought
has run around in my brain all day today. Here I am thinking of different
reasons how and why it could happen. One thought comes to mind. There
price's are quite high compared to other computer manufacturers. They need
to find a another cool looking desktop like the iMac to make sales jump up
again. I like change I think it is a good thing especially for a big company
such as Apple.

My main question is what could Apple do to hold up there end of the computer
sales? I think they should lower there prices to make other computer makers
such as HP, Compaq, Dell Etc. think they dont have such a cheap product any
more. This making them cheaper for new users to buy. A new user isn't going
out and spending 1499. or MORE for a new Mac. They will go and buy a 999.00
PC because it is cheaper. This is a true test result! I did a poll in my
school. The kids said that if Mac's were cheaper that they would like to
have one. 79% buy a PC because they are cheaper. Wake up Apple this number
would be better if it was the opposite.

I also don't see or here of any Apple commercials on TV. I think this is
another poor method for selling computers. IBM had a really interesting add
on TV all summer it was kind of neat it said "Do you really want a clone".
It must have been on like 30 times a day! I think Apple would do better if
they had more commercials.

Best Regards

Will Shortt

PS. I would love to receive some feed back
