When I started looking around for more RAM for my PM7600/132 earlier this year, I was appalled at the price differential between Canadian and US vendors. I decided to take a chance on trying www.18004memory.com, as RAM Seeker consistently showed them to have the best, or almost the best prices, and their shipping information indicated that they'd ship to Canada.
I have purchased RAM from them on three separate occasions. Each time I requested that they just toss it in the mail. Each time it arrived in my mailbox with no additional taxes or handling charges. Each time the RAM worked as soon as I installed it. Each time it took about a week to get here from New Jersey. I, too, prefer to buy from Canadian retailers, but when the price differential is on the order of almost 200%, I can't ignore it. I know this doesn't directly answer your question, but, for once, free trade seems to benefit us. ;-) Chris Gleeson Wawa, Ontario http://wawa.cc -- Mac Canada is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
