All cool aspects

YES! And it'll be even worse for us in Canada.

True, but SmartDisk can't make ya boogie like the iPod can.

I'm not smitten with the name, either.

Typically stellar design, both hard and soft! Love the fact that you can use
it for data transfer as well.

They should have offered it for Windows as well. Yes, that would have
involved more expense designing iTunes for Windows, but what a beautiful way
to entrance users into the Mac fold! I completely understand Apple making
their superior software bundles Mac-only, but at least THIS device should
have been launched at the other side! it's such a nicely designed device,
that would give users the opportunity to live with an Apple designed product
without having to sacrifice their entire software library etc. to switch
platforms. And then once they're hooked on Apple's design and UI
characteristics, then BOOM! you got 'em!

Also, after having just dropped $300.00 for the Handspring Neo and $200.00
for the Innogear MP3 player Springboard module for the Neo, I am VERY GLAD
that Apple did not release a ccombination PDA/MP3 device, or else my brains
would be splattered all over my studdio walls, right about now!
