I've used Telus ADSL for appx 5yrs. Last time I had a problem (~ 1.5yrs
ago) they certainly spoke Mac. Odd.

Regardless, random disconnctions aren't usually platform dependent. Try
the following:

1. A filter on every phone jack
2. No phone cord greater than 6' in length (wall to modem)
3. Check every cord for quality.
4. Avoid splitters

I have a wireless system with the moden & router mounted by the phone
jack. No issues since then (that stemmed from *my* side. Telus service can
be a little flacky at times, but a call to the svc dept can usually
determine if it's an area problem or yours).

Every ISP seems to have 'issues'. YMMV, but there seem to be fewer
security issues with Telus/ADSL than Shaw/Cable.

Hope that helps.
