I've recently hunted pretty hard for another task, and had no
success in finding a RAWRITE utility as such for any variety of the
Mac OS. I read in one place that the OSX Disk Copy utility can
handle raw images, and possibly ShrinkWrap can. DD is the native
utility in Linux for handling creating disk images; if there is a
counterpart command-line utility in OSX, that could work too
(presuming Craig has a Mac running OSX).

But no one's 'fessed up that they know for sure that there is a
utility that runs under the Mac OS (particularly in the classic
versions) that can handle a raw disk image.

Now here's an idea; yesterday I finally installed a copy of Basilisk
II on my PC. Has anyone tried using Disk Copy under Basilisk II? May
have to give that a whirl.
