I am getting more and more frustrated with this. I gave it a rest for a few days, and then decided to try to get printer sharing to work by setting up the Canon with my iMac. I left the Brother connected, and added the Canon--went through the same configuration process as I did with the HL-1440. Everything seemed to go as it should. I printed a test page from the iMac, and a test page from the XP. Then it all went south. I couldn't get anything to work. I started getting an "access denied" message when I attempted to print from the XP and nada from the iMac.
I think this Canon printer is possessed. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Gretchen Summers [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Mac-N-DOS is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Mac-N-DOS list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/mac-n-dos.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-n-dos%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
