Andy...did you get your Classic up and running again? I found two 40MB Quantums from my Amiga while tidying up this weekend, and since a 40MB striped RAID array isn't on my list of enhancements for the B&W any time soon, you're still welcome to them. Or anybody else who has a use for these. They still work. I hooked one up and tried it out as a cache for my OS web browsers under 9.2.2. But if anything the browsers ran slower than with no cache! If I read the specs. correctly, these things have a whopping 3MB/s transfer rate ;-) Neil -- Mac UK is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Mac UK list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/mac-uk.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[email protected]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-uk%40mail.maclaunch.com/> iPod Accessories for Less at 1-800-iPOD.COM Fast Delivery, Low Price, Good Deal www.1800ipod.com
