Hi Charlie,
Great to see another person building OpenOffice.org. :-)

Hi,
it seems that the mailing list doesn't have an archive so I don't
quite know how to search for this.
There is an archive at <http://porting.openoffice.org/servlets/
SummarizeList?listName=mac>
You will sometimes find things in the Issue Tracker (or Bugzilla as
some people call it).

Another good way to contact the Mac Port team is on IRC, mostly
during EU working hours.
Server: irc.freenode.net
Channel: #ooo_macport
I am trying to build the native port on an Intel Mac but have hit a
problem:
/usr/bin/ld: can't locate file for: -lX11
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
dmake: Error code 1, while making '../unxmacxi.pro/bin/makedepend'
'---* tg_merge.mk *---'
ERROR: Error 65280 occurred while making /Users/charlieclark/OO/
src680-m200/soltools/mkdepend
dmake: Error code 1, while making 'build_instsetoo_native'
I think I have come across this issue before, but can't remember how
it was resolved.
What is your configure line?
I guess this is related to the patch for this build but I have been
unable to install this patch
following the instructions:
patch -p0<instsetoo_native_util_makefile.mk.diff
I don't expect this to work given the fact that patchfile is
diff_salframe.diff and the path is
aquavcl01-src/instsetoo_native/util
Is this simply a question of renaming?
I've become rather lazy to checking out source code, letting the
buildbot do it for me, then I have all the correct files for a CWS.
My last aqua build is at <http://termite.go-oo.org/MacPort1/builds/
88> (based on an earlier milestone). You may find the logs files for
the configure and bootstrap useful.
Shaun
