What an over-reaction from Eric again :-(
I'd like to see people stop to decide everything without advertise ...
This is NOT what was scheduled. There is a big demand for Panther
builds, and a lot of people still asking for them, like
administration with important parks.
Maho only announced (you always wrote advertised) that HE will
upgrade to Tiger and thus he can't provide builds for Panther. He
hasn't announced the decision to stop providing Panther builds.
Now you can volunteer to provide Panther builds! Or anyone else. Or
we can announce that we can't provide builds for Panther any longer
because we do not have man-power to do so.
...
I think that we misuse IRC meetings and mailing lists. Mailing lists
are more flexible for this. IRC meetings should be used for more
intensive communication and not as a gun to stop some people joining
the decisions.
