I think that we misuse IRC meetings and mailing lists. Mailing lists are
more flexible for this. IRC meetings should be used for more intensive
communication and not as a gun to stop some people joining the decisions.
Yes, the way to post it in *.releases was IMHO too early... and the
$SUBJECT was not very well selected...
