I'd love to test this build, but I need to test it with our 2.3 translation (submitted in the last couple of days).Hi, I have just uploaded MacOSX version of OpenOffice.org SRC680_m222 PPC/INTEL AQUA/X11 at good-day. ftp://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/SRC680_m222/ ...MD5 (OOo_SRC680_m222_MacOSXIntel_AQUA_install_vi.dmg) = d7a774b9622a9b728fc71d7901eccaac
Which will be the first build to integrate our OpenOffice.org 2.3 translations?
This release, I can only test on Intel Macs (one Macbook and a Mac mini), since our G4 has moved North to Newcastle (NSW, AU) to live with my elder daughter. [1]

She was brought up correctly on Macs, but has used Windows at work, and not had a computer at home, for some years ... she rings me up and asks questions like "What's a Dock?", happily ignoring the summary readme I sent her, ALL the Help and any problemsolving abilities she may retain ... grrrr. :S
Phone conversation between me and the "satellite Internet installation expert" connecting my daughter's G4:
"Expert": Where's Internet Explorer on this machine?Me: We don't use it, due to its notorious insecurity and general bad design. You can use Omniweb, Safari, Camino, or any of the other browsers on that machine.
"Expert": I have to put the settings manually into Internet Explorer, to get online.
Me: No, you don't. All you need to do is set the System Prefs, and the machine will grab the IP via DHCP from the network. All the browsers will use the central System Prefs.
"Expert": Huh? Me: (repeats everything slowly, several times, in words of one syllable) "Expert": No, I have to input the IP manually. Me: No, you don't. Just go to System Preferences... "Expert": What?(long, drawn-out process of getting him to notice the System Prefs icon and open Network: you wouldn't believe how long that took!)
Me: Now, you're using an Ethernet connection, right? "Expert": No, it's a satellite modem. Me: <represses yet another sigh> It's not connected via USB, is it? "Expert": No, it's an Ethernet connection.Me: <tears my hair in the background> OK, now choose the Ethernet config in the Network list.
"Expert": I have to input the IP manually. Me: No, you don't. Just select the Ethernet config. <repeat ad nauseam, but finally> "Expert": Oh, TCP/IP. Now I input the IP manually-- Me: No, you don't. Just ask it to use DHCP. "Expert": But I have to input the IP manually.Me: <banging my head on the wall behind me> No, you don't. Just select Automatic--
<repeat ...> Finally... "Expert": So I select Automatic? Me: Yes. "Expert": Hey, we're online! Me: <with great restraint> Yes. _________________________________
