I think it is a good step, it seems Mac OS X will be a first class
citizen.
I only would like that Sun would also build a PowerPC version, or
better, a
universal version, as it is only one and a half year ago that the
Intel
transition officially took place. (jan 2006) . It woud also make
developers
more aware of porting issues.
powerpc: IMO, it is/will be dead soon.
Uni: the same applies because of the above.
I have done a lot of work on uni builds, but the more time flows, I
more think it is useless.
