Well, after typing sudo pico, I copied and pasted the path and filename from
your message, then deleted the extra S.
But typing cntrl-o did nothing until I also typed the dash. That caused some
movement, so then I typed cntrl dash x and was able to get out.  I guess I
did OK because the world didn't come to an end. Sure don't like being in
unix.
