Stuart:
If your material is of reasonable size, the simplest way is to use
something like a Sandisk cruzer 8GB, available at Walmarts for about
@25.00.
Just stick it in a USB port, and copy the data you want to transfer,
then plug it into the other computer, and transfer the data.
When the transfer is complete, throw all the data on the sandisk
cruzer into the trash.

Hi all,
So, I need to move some stuff between my macs. Most importantly, my
iTunes library, iPhoto library, iWeb and Garageband files. I know
there is the "migration" function, but I am wondering if there is an
easier way. I have all of the above backed up onto an external HD
(USB not Firewire). Can I just swap the files in the locations where
they should be (once I figure that out) and the programs will work as
designed? Or is there more to it than that?
Thanks for thoughts/help!
Stuart
