If both Mac's are on your network they will show up in the side bar of the
finder.
Click on the one with files you need and if you are the administrator for that
machine you will have to put in your admin name and password then you can copy
file across your network to the mac that needs the files.

If Mac is not on network but in another location
You can use Dropbox to move files back and forth between Mac's

Subject: [MacGroup] moving between macs

Hi all,

So, I need to move some stuff between my macs. Most importantly, my iTunes
library, iPhoto library, iWeb and Garageband files. I know there is the
"migration" function, but I am wondering if there is an easier way. I have all
of the above backed up onto an external HD (USB not Firewire). Can I just
swap the files in the locations where they should be (once I figure that out)
and the programs will work as designed? Or is there more to it than that?

Thanks for thoughts/help!

Stuart
