Harry,

I too am looking for a new camera of same description. The one I keep coming
back to is the Canon G12, a point-and-shoot that has a lot more features than
the typical p-and-s. The feature I want that is becoming increasingly hard to
find is a real viewfinder, you know, the kind you put your eye up to to frame
and focus the shot. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I find that way of
shooting much superior to the hold-it-out-at-arms-length method that using the
digital screen almost requires.

The G12 also has lots of manual settings you can use, a 5x optical zoom and
lets you save photos in RAW format, which is essential if you want to do any
serious color or exposure corrections.

If anyone else knows of a good point-and-shoot that still has a viewfinder,
please let me know.

Thanks.

Dan
