John,

I really appreciate your input. Will your Epsons print card stock or cover stock paper? That's important to me.

I've been reading the comments online, and some of the Epsons won't print on a heavier stock.

So glad your reunion went well. I know it took a whole lot of work.

Jane,

Been out of town. I have used only Epson for years, they are marvelous with Photo prints. I just wore out the Artisan 800 and am right now installing the 837. The 800 had been in use for several years, printed so many things on it, in fact the print output is still fantastic but the paper feed in the automatic document feeder would no longer pull through the copy, and then the same thing began happening with the paper tray itself. No use trying to get it fixed, the new was $199.99 at Amazon and had it within a couple days.

Our class just had it's 50 yr reunion and among many things I printed was a 4x6 glossy print of every living member from our high school year book. Took a bunch of scanning but the printer did a fantastic job. Output in color is sooooo much better than what you get from Walgreens or WalMart. These are fantastic little machines.

Hi Everyone,

I really need a decent printer that prints photos beautifully. I would prefer one under $200, but I'm open to other suggestions.

What about color laser? Is this the best way to go?

TIA,
Jane
