Jane,

As my third backup I have a Hughes dish, it was absolutely horrible, but I had
to have something if my other two went down. I called to cancel and they
transferred me to a guy that explained that they were just coming out with
their new system that was 10 meg down (rather than the 1 down with the old
system....actually I think it was closer to dialup) I decided to give it a try
as I did need it. By golly it is a firm 10 down most all the time, the screens
fill differently, they have a longer pause and then almost completely fill at
once. With the satellite system it really is hard to get a speed test due to
the Ping test, it's something like three days but the usage really isn't bad
and will certainly work for what I need.

I had been paying close to $80.00 a month and now it's $62.00, so that was a
big help as well. It's not for TV, so I can't tell you how good or bad Dish
network may be.....which is what AT&T uses if you aren't eligible for Uverse.
